Summit man arrested for Hindering apprehension or prosecution, over meth lab explosion

On Tuesday, October 26, 2010, Danny Starling, age 67, of Summit, was arrested on a Marion County felony warrant for: Hindering apprehension or prosecution, Bond $10,000.00. Starling posted bail through a local bonding company and is currently awaiting his first appearance in the Marion County Circuit Court. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on or about September 27, 2010, where a meth lab caused a vehicle to catch fire, causing serious injury to one of the occupants. Starling allegedly assisted one or more of the suspects associated with the incident and was uncooperative with investigators. Assisting with the investigation is the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force.
