On Tuesday, January 25, 2011, James Randy Martin, age 58 of Pyatt, was arrested on several felony warrants for: Delivery of a Controlled Substance (vicodin), a Class C Felony; Unlawful use of a Communication Device, a Class C Felony; and Criminal Conspiracy to deliver Marijuana, a Class C Felony - bond was set at $25,000.00. James Randy Martin was also arrested on charges from the Arkansas State Police for Delivery of Oxycontin, a Class C Felony; Delivery of Xanax, a Class C Felony; Delivery of Oxycodone, a Class C Felony; and Delivery of Marijuana, a Class C felony - Bond $50,000.00. James Randy Martin remains incarcerated in the Marion County Jail, awaiting his first appearance in the Marion County Circuit Court. James Randy Martin also has charges pending out of Boone County for Delivery of Methamphetamine - $100,000 bond. James Randy Martin's total bond for all charges is $175,000.00.
Also arrested, was James Randy Martin's son, James Ellis Martin, age 36, also of Pyatt. James Ellis Martin was arrested on a several Marion County warrants for: Criminal Mischief in the First Degree; Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree; Violation of a Protection Order - Bond $2,500.00. James Ellis Martin was arrested on a separate warrant for Terroristic Threatening - Bond $10,000.00; and another warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (marijuana), a Class C Felony; and Conspiracy to Delivery a controlled substance (marijuana), a Class D Felony - bond $10,000.00. James Ellis Martin's total bond out of Marion County was set at $22,500.00, in which he posted through a local bonding company and is scheduled to appear before the Marion County Circuit Court on February 16, 2011 at 10:00 AM. James Ellis Martin also has charges pending out of Boone County for possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.
Assisting the Marion County Sheriff's Department in the investigations and arrests the Flippin Police Department and Arkansas State Police. Further investigations on both Martin's are continuing with possible additional charges pending.
