On Friday, April 29, 2011, Jack Kuhnle, age 54, of Rogers Arkansas was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent Deliver, a Class Y Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class D Felony. Bond for Kuhnle was set at $10,0000. Also arrested in the incident was Michelle Byers, age 21, of Yellville. Byers was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, a Class Y Felony, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, a Class C Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class D Felony. Bond for Byers was set at $7,500.00.
The arrests stem from a joint investigation by the Marion County Sheriff's Office and the Flippin Police Department. On 4/29/2011 Investigators learned that Kuhnle and Byers were involved in a drug related incident at a business in Yellville. Investigators as well as officers from each Department began looking for the vehicle the couple was traveling in. A short time later officials located the vehicle and an officer from Flippin conducted a traffic stop on the couple. During the course of the stop officers from each Department located an amount of methamphetamine as well as items used in the consumption of methamphetamine. Both subjects bonded through a local bonding company and are currently awaiting their first appearance in Marion County Circuit Court.
