On July 4, 2011, Clinton Williams, age 39, of Fayetteville, was arrested for Criminal Attempt To Manufacture Methamphetamine; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Intent To Manufacture Methamphetamine; and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana. Williams' bond was set at $25,000.00.
The arrest stems from when National Park Rangers made contact with Williams and others, and discovered multiple items related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Williams remains incarcerated in the Marion County Jail and is scheduled to make his first appearance before the Marion County Circuit Court on July 20, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Assisting in the investigation was the Flippin Police Department, the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force and the National Park Service. The matter is still under investigation and additional arrests are expected to be made.
