Oakland Couple arrested for Meth Lab

On December 23, 2011, Blane (age 26) and Tessa Ebersold (age 29), both of rural Oakland, was arrested on Marion County Felony Warrants for: manufacturing a controlled substance (meth); possession of a controlled substance (meth); possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture meth; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrests stem from November 29th, 2011, when the Marion County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Arkansas State Police Crimes against Children’s Division, to investigate a report of child neglect, due to the Ebersold’s possibly cooking meth in the presence of an infant.  Upon arrival, officers observed numerous items at the residence related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine.  Officer’s then secured the residence and obtained a search warrant, in which they discovered all the components of a meth lab, including testable methamphetamine.

The Ebersold’s bond was s set at $25,000.00 each, in which they posted.  Both are scheduled to appear before the Marion County Circuit Court on January 18th, 2012 at 10:00 AM.  Assisting in the investigation were the Flippin Police Department and 14th Judicial Drug Task Force.
