On August 27th, 2012, Marion County deputies responded to a 911 call of a domestic disturbance in rural Yellville, with an intoxicated subject, later identified as David Rula, age 42, of Yellville, threatening to shoot anyone that comes on the property.
Upon arrival at the residence, deputies made contact with the suspect’s wife and three minor children, whom were all crying and visibly shaken. When making contact with Rula he admitted to losing his temper and making the threats.

Rula was arrested for Possession of Firearm by Certain Person (Class B Felony), Terroristic Threatening (Class D Felony) and Three Counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor (Class A Misdemeanor). Rula's bond was set at $25,000.00 and he is currently awaiting his first appearance before the Marion County Circuit Court.
