Missing Person

On December 11, 2018, 23 year old white, female,Tapanga Maxwell, DOB 9-13-95, was reported missing by her mother. Tapanga’s mother advised that Tapanga has seizures, short term memory loss, and the mentality of a 14 year old. It was also stated that Tapanga has left her medications at home. Tapanga was last seen wearing a pink, grey, and white plaid shirt, dark blue pants, and dark blue slip on canvas shoes. She has brown hair and brown eyes, she is approximately 5’3” and about 150-170lbs. She has a scar on the left upper part of her chest. She has a birthmark on the left front side of her neck that runs up and down and there is also a scar on her neck that runs parallel on the front of her neck almost touching her birthmark. She has a scar that runs up and down about 3-4” from her armpit and a scar on her lower back that runs up and down on her spine. Tapanga was last seen on 12/10/18. She is known to get rides from truck drivers.  If you see Tapanga, please contact the Marion County Sheriff's Office at 870-449-4236 or you local law enforcement agency.
